CAS Air Force Writer / Intel Analyst

Job Duties

• Maintain active participation in scenario development processes to ensure appropriate air power integration.
• Monitor and analyze conduct of CAS missions.
• Facilitate multiservice air integration into Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) scenarios.
• Assist Operations Group in integrating CAS during JRTC rotations through rotational planning meetings.
• Replicate the functions of a Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), producing ATOs, ACOs, and SPINS, and processing pre-planned CAS requests.
• Generate Daily Situation Updates (DISUMs), Intelligence Reports (INTREPs), Electronic Intelligence Reports (ELINTREPs), and enemy Order of Battle updates as needed and distribute them to exercise players.
• Provide intelligence support to participating airlift and CAS platforms.
• Participate in rotational planning meetings and conduct briefings as required, compiling After Action Review (AAR) inputs for Task Forces on USAF/CAS effects.
