About the role

Working in conjunction with a licensed BCBA, the behavior technician will serve a caseload of families (1-4 on average) and work 1:1 with children/young adults (ages 2-21) with behavioral disabilities in their home, community, schools, and/or clinical settings. Assignments are individualized per case.

  • Work and play with kids through the implementation of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Learn about the field of ABA, take data, and see the change you are making in clients' lives

Responsibilities

  • Support with daily living and personal care routines—including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills—using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence

Requirements

  • Some experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, direct support, education, or a related field
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred but not required
  • At least 18 years of age with some college education in the field; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance
  • CPR/First Aid Certified preferred
