Carton Maker - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Review the carton requirements report for cartons needed.
• Use the manual box maker to make the required number of each type of box needed for wave.
• Push created boxes to the pick rows or zones to be labeled.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Skills

• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good quality and good attendance.

Physical Demands

• Occasional overhead reaching and lifting required.
• Must be able to stand/walk continuously.
• Must be able to carry up to 35 pounds consistently.

Typical Working Conditions

• May work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards.
• Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
