Cart/Clubhouse Attendant

About the Role

This part-time, temporary position assists with general maintenance and daily operations of Tanglewood Golf Course, including golf cart operations, facility upkeep, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Golf Cart Operations
  • Cleans, washes, and dries golf carts after use.
  • Checks carts for damage, mechanical issues, and cleanliness; reports concerns to supervisor.
  • Ensures carts are operable and properly staged for daily play.
  • Safely operates golf carts and other light equipment following all safety procedures.
  • Maintains cart storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Assists with monitoring cart usage and availability during peak hours.
• Facility Maintenance Activities
  • Assists with general upkeep of the clubhouse, equipment storage facility, and surrounding grounds.
  • Empties trash receptacles and maintains the cleanliness of common areas.
  • Assists with range operations, including picking up range balls as directed.
  • Performs light maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Secures facility areas at closing as instructed by supervisor.
• Customer Service Activities
  • Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assists golfers with loading and unloading golf bags.
  • Provides general information regarding course rules and cart policies.
  • Communicates effectively with pro shop staff and supervisors.
  • Responds to supervisor requests in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and submit to periodic drug testing as required by applicable laws.
• Must have no felony convictions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Subject to working a varied schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors in a controlled environment and experiences a moderate noise level.
