About the role
Our client is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Cart Attendant to support the daily management of the site's UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Check UTVs in and out to authorized employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Verify required user information and documentation during the checkout process.
- Maintain accurate fleet usage logs and assignment records.
- Conduct visual inspections of UTVs before and after use.
- Document and report damage, maintenance concerns, and operational issues to the Fleet Maintenance team.
- Ensure vehicles are returned on schedule and parked in designated locations.
- Monitor fleet cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition.
- Aid in staging and organizing UTVs to support daily site operations.
- Provide professional customer service while enforcing fleet policies and procedures.
- Follow all client’s safety standards, operational guidelines, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in customer service, fleet management, equipment checkout, inventory control, or administrative support preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate electronic and written records.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBIDS Badge.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting fleet operations, equipment tracking, or inventory management.
- Ability to identify and communicate maintenance concerns.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable interacting with employees across multiple departments and organizational levels.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for the majority of a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to safely enter, exit, and inspect fleet vehicles throughout the workday.
