About the role

Our client is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Cart Attendant to support the daily management of the site's UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check UTVs in and out to authorized employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Verify required user information and documentation during the checkout process.
  • Maintain accurate fleet usage logs and assignment records.
  • Conduct visual inspections of UTVs before and after use.
  • Document and report damage, maintenance concerns, and operational issues to the Fleet Maintenance team.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned on schedule and parked in designated locations.
  • Monitor fleet cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition.
  • Aid in staging and organizing UTVs to support daily site operations.
  • Provide professional customer service while enforcing fleet policies and procedures.
  • Follow all client’s safety standards, operational guidelines, and security requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in customer service, fleet management, equipment checkout, inventory control, or administrative support preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate electronic and written records.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBIDS Badge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting fleet operations, equipment tracking, or inventory management.
  • Ability to identify and communicate maintenance concerns.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable interacting with employees across multiple departments and organizational levels.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for the majority of a 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to safely enter, exit, and inspect fleet vehicles throughout the workday.
