Cart Associate - Opry Mills Mall - Part-time

About the role

This position is a part-time opportunity at Opry Mills Mall, offering $18 per hour with an additional $5 monthly cellular phone allowance. The role requires approximately 20-25 hours per week, with shifts typically occurring during mall closures, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transfer carts from high return areas to high rental areas, ensuring availability of equipment such as strollers and massage chairs to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service, focusing on the cleaning and maintenance of all moving equipment.
• Complete minor repairs using hand tools.
• Maintain good communication and cooperation with other employees and facility management.
• Practice safe work habits, covering oneself, colleagues, company property, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months previous work experience.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Minor lifting, possibly up to 40 lbs.
• Potentially pushing and pulling up to 75-100 lbs to move up to 15 carts simultaneously.
• Standing and walking throughout the shift.
