Responsibilities
- Avoiding food waste through innovative menu planning and preparation techniques
- Ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to develop and implement new recipes
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies efficiently
- Training and mentoring new kitchen staff
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in culinary arts and food safety regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Education in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Valid food handler's license
Skills
- Knowledge of various cuisines and regional specialties
- Experience with kitchen equipment and appliances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
