Carrier Service Agent
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with independent contractors to discuss performance, address concerns, and provide support.
- Utilize various communication channels like phone calls, emails, and a dedicated messaging platform for quick updates.
- Provide comprehensive insights into performance metrics such as delivery times, efficiency, and customer satisfaction ratings.
- Offer guidance and share successful strategies from other team members to help contractors improve.
- Act as a liaison between drivers and the company, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
- Offer support and mentorship to help drivers grow professionally and feel valued.
- Keep a close eye on freight movements to ensure they are on schedule and meet delivery deadlines.
- Use tracking systems and software to stay informed about potential delays or issues during transit.
- Promptly communicate any disruptions or delays to the customer service team to manage customer expectations.
- Advocate for the needs and concerns of drivers within the company, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
