Responsibilities

• Negotiate prices with carriers for shipping services.
• Build relationships with carriers to establish long-term partnerships.
• Manage transportation logistics to ensure shipments arrive on time and meet customer expectations.
• Track shipments and maintain communication with carriers and customers throughout the transportation process.
• Select carriers from a database for each shipment.
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company, including sales and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze market trends and recommend new carriers or transportation methods to stay competitive.
• Provide training or guidance to other team members on industry best practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
• Account Management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional personal organizational skills.
