Carpet and Flooring Installers

About the role

Allwein Carpet One is looking for self-motivated individuals to join our installation crew. With over 40 years in this industry and community, we are committed to our craft, customers, and employees. Our team is growing, and we need more quality individuals to meet customer needs. We support both hourly and salaried employees and offer opportunities for subcontractors, including potential tool and truck buyouts. If you have no experience in flooring, we provide training. We strive to support and promote our installation team and welcome you to be part of it.

Responsibilities

• Lead or be part of an installation team, depending on experience level
• Load and unload materials at the shop and job sites
• Follow pre-determined plans for installations
• Measure and cut materials
• Spread adhesives as needed
• Keep jobsites neat and tidy
• Help maintain truck and tools (large tools and truck supplied by Allwein Carpet One)
• Be punctual to shop and job sites
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
• Be a team player

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Own some hand tools
• Some experience with manual labor (construction experience preferred)
• Ability to bend, kneel, lift, and carry
