• Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $75,000 plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

• Completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project length ranging from two hours to two days
• Communicating with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and managing expectations about the scope of work and costs
• Delivering a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time

Performance expectations

• Customer Satisfaction (NPS): For every job, encourage customers to complete a survey to rate their satisfaction with the service; need both a high response rate and high satisfaction rate
• Revenue Target: The office gets you in the door and it's your job to stay there and find additional ways to be of service to the customer
• Effective Billing Rate: Invoice appropriately, source any needed materials, and collect payment from the customer
• Recall Percentage: All work is guaranteed for one year; work must be done correctly the first time

Requirements

• Live within the area
• 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman
• Own your own tools
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle
• Complete a background and driving record check
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle
• Reliable and responsible; most jobs you'll work alone
• Confident in your skills and abilities
• Comfortable speaking with customers about the work to be performed
• Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments
• Ability to use technology and document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way process

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in at least three of the following:

• Carpentry work
• Minor electrical work
• Drywall
• Kitchen improvements
• Painting, both inside and out
• Drywall work, minor and major repairs
• General plumbing and electrical
• Floor installation and refurbishing
