Carpentry Assistant
About the role
Rainbow International is a repair, reconstruction, and restoration company seeking applicants to assist with, and learn all aspects of carpentry. We offer a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and a very fun and rewarding job.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with projects
- Jobsite setup and teardown
- Material handling - occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs
- Learn all aspects of carpentry - from rough framing to finish carpentry
- Maintain all company tools, equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
- Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Requirements
- A good attitude and a willingness to learn
- Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
Starting Pay
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour based upon experience.
