Carpenter (TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required)

About the role

Fluor is a leading government contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-value technical solutions to U.S. government agencies. This role is within the Carpenter, Maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Examines blueprints and determines dimensions of structure.
• Lay out and construct light gauge metal framing.
• Hang, tape, finish, and sand new drywall.
• Layout and install acoustical ceiling grid.
• Install acoustical ceiling tile.
• Install ceramic tile.
• Perform snow-removal duties during inclement weather, which may occur on holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 3 years directly related experience is required.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program).
• Local candidates preferred.

Market Rate

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
