Carpenter (Measure Technician)

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure the customer’s home for installations
• Complete service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Repair windows, siding, and sunrooms
• Order and track repair/installation services
• Aid in management reporting and communication as requested
• Interact with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
• Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Construction trade school preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in home improvement/construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
• Experience in the use of a brake and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
