About the role
Moffitt is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida. As a Carpenter III, you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily focusing on carpentry and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes. This role includes providing indirect guidance and project-specific management to others while maintaining facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on carpentry systems and related equipment.
- Adhere to departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes.
- Provide indirect guidance and project-specific management to team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Valid Florida Driver’s License (required upon hire).
- OSHA 10 Hour Certificate (must be obtained within 6 months of employment).

Pay
Salary Range: $22.74 - $34.68 per hour. Salary ranges represent the expected base pay for the role and may vary based on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity among team members.
