Summary of Primary Functions
- BUILDS form work used in BDS production
- INSTALLS form work on beds
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- CHECK CARPENTER SHOP LEAD’S sketch or drawings of form work
- CARRY Styrofoam, 2x4’s, PVC pipe, etc., into the Carpenter Shop
- MESSEGE and MARK forming material to correct dimensions
- CUT/SAW forming materials to size on table saw, radial saw, or other equipment
- CUT/SAW bevel in narrow or wide reveal
- INSTALL reveals or other form work in BDS beds
- REPAIR, MODIFY, or CLEAN used form work to be salvaged for additional pours
- CLEAN UP work area
Job Specifications Or Qualifications
- Educational requirement: High school diploma or GED
- Experience requirement: One to three months related experience or training
Work Environment
- REGULARLY EXPOSED TO OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS
- FREQUENTLY EXPOSED TO MOVING MECHANICAL PARTS
- OCCASIONALLY EXPOSED TO WET AND/OR HUMID CONDITIONS AND VIBRATION
- NOISE LEVEL IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT IS USUALLY LOUD
