Carpenter (Formbuilding/Formsetting) - Lead
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides clear instructions and updates to both superiors and team members.
- Captures daily productivity with team members.
- Assembles forms for bridges, foundations, beams, etc.
- Reads and interprets construction plans (blueprints) to determine form requirements.
- Measures and cuts materials to desired specifications using hand and power tools.
- Ensures formwork is level, plumb, and square, using levels, lasers, and other measuring tools.
- Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in the formwork.
- Removes formwork after concrete has cured.
- Inspects and maintains formwork to ensure it is in good condition and safe for use.
- Assists with the concrete pour process.
- Performs all tasks efficiently and safely.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of relevant form carpentry experience.
- Proven knowledge of tools, equipment, and techniques used in formwork.
- A valid and current driver’s license.
