About the role
The role involves designing, constructing, and maintaining structures using various tools and techniques. The Carpenter is responsible for ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and building codes.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct buildings, bridges, and other structures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and building codes during construction.
- Operate machinery such as nail guns, drills, and saws.
- Inspect completed projects to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in carpentry or related field preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
