About the role

A GARNEY Form Carpenter position is available. Ideal candidates are experienced carpenters who take pride in their work and strive for precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures made from materials, including wood, steel, plywood, and concrete.
• Verify the trueness of structures with a plumb bob, lasers, carpenter level, squares, and transits prior to concrete placements.
• Construct forms and chutes for concrete placement.
• Assemble and tie reinforcing steel.
• Operate hand tools and power tools, such as saws, drills, roto hammers, grinders, etc.

Requirements

• Firm knowledge of carpenter structures, forms, and tools.
• Willingness to complete “Fall Protection Certification” and OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Skills

• Strong carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of form construction techniques.
• Ability to operate various tools safely and efficiently.
