Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble formwork systems for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs
• Precisely cut, measure, and install construction materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Install anchor bolts, steel embed plates, and other fixtures in formwork
• Remove and wreck formwork after concrete has cured
• Read and interpret construction drawings and documents
• Build, install, and maintain handrails and temporary enclosures
• Install interior blocking; knowledge of doors, frames, and hardware
• Install interior protections, floor coverings, and waterproofing
• Read plans and specifications to guide construction
• Collaborate with plumbers, electricians, and other trade partners on site

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years commercial Carpentry Experience Required
• Carpenter Helpers: prior construction experience preferred; motivated entry-level candidates welcome
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to work at elevated heights and lift up to 75 pounds
• Strong work ethic and commitment to jobsite safety
• Must adhere to company safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment
• Commitment to train, mentor, and develop helpers on your crew
