About the role
Arrow Exterminators is seeking a full-time Carpenter to provide exceptional service to customers through general carpentry tasks such as gutters, siding, doors, windows, trim, sheetrock, framing, decks, painting, soffit, and fascia repair, moisture barriers, and vent installation.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and complete services independently
- Gather necessary tools and materials for each project
- Work on various projects including soffits, facia, siding, interior/exterior trim, framing, sheetrock, decks, porches, doors, windows, gutters
- Communicate effectively with customers about services provided and answer any additional questions
- Ensure thorough completion of projects by cleaning up and collecting payments
- Work evenings and weekends as needed
Requirements
- Demonstrated skills in most construction categories listed above
- Pass and maintain required licensing/certification exams
- Possess current Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible to work a 40-hour minimum workweek
Qualifications
- Pass internal technical exams

Pay
This is an hourly earning position based on experience.

A Day in the Life of a Carpenter
In this role, you will work independently to fulfill services to our customers. This includes scheduling services and gathering the necessary tools and materials to complete each project. In your daily work, you may encounter projects that include soffits, facia, siding, interior/exterior trim, framing, sheetrock, decks, porches, doors, windows, gutters. Through your excellent customer service skills, you will explain the process of the services you provide and answer any additional questions. Your understanding of written, verbal, or diagram instructions will be crucial in delivering an uncompromised service to our customers. Some jobs may require tall ladders or roof work. To ensure a thorough job, you will polish off your project by cleaning up your area of work and collecting any payments due. With your hard-working attitude and attention to detail, you will help your service center achieve company goals and provide an experience that can't be beaten!
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill in most of the construction categories listed above
- Pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
- Able to pass internal technical exams
- Possess current Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
