Carpenter Assistant/Locksmith - Fox Chase Cancer Center

About the role

Assists the Carpenter in constructing and executing a variety of carpentry-related projects using power and hand tools. Performs locksmith duties including the installation, maintenance, and repair of locks and door hardware.

Responsibilities

• Completes work in accordance with specifications and applicable safety and regulatory standards.
• Provides time estimates for assigned work and maintains accurate records as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years experience in hospital maintenance or an equivalent building maintenance role.
• General Experience with door systems, hardware and keying systems.
• Possession of a Drivers License.

• General Experience of applicable fire cords, DOH Life Safety (LS), and Joint Commission (TJC) standards, or the ability to acquire this knowledge.
