Responsibilities

• Perform framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry on residential remodeling projects.
• Support the Lead Carpenter in daily site operations, setup, and coordination.
• Aid in material takeoffs, ordering, and inventory management to ensure workflow continuity.
• Perform minor exterior repairs, including siding patches, exterior trim, windows, doors, and small roof repairs as needed.
• Participate in daily jobsite start-up and close-down procedures, including safety checks and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Mentor and assist less experienced carpenters and apprentices in proper techniques and company standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
• Absorb and complete move-in and project closeout tasks, including punch lists and client transition.
• Uphold company safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential carpentry experience, including framing and finish work.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email).
• Experience with JobTread, BuilderTrend, or similar project management software preferred.
• OSHA-10 required; RRP and CSL a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and your own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, climb, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to detail in maintaining organized, clean, and safe worksites.

Pay

$35 - $40/hour
