About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing railcars to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair railcars to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of related experience in railcar maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pass a drug screening and background check.
Skills
- Knowledge of railcar systems and components.
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems.

Pay
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.
