About the role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gulf Shores, AL, for a Cargo Screening K9 Handler (3PK9).
Responsibilities
- Performing detection exercises
- Maintaining dog welfare
- Documenting screenings
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborating with team members to optimize screening operations
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Dog Behavior and experience working with or training dogs
- Background in Military or Emergency Services
- Understanding of Explosives Safety protocols and handling measures
- Experience and proficiency in Training working dogs for detection purposes
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and respond effectively in high-pressure situations
- Availability for on-site work and flexibility with schedules
- Possession of necessary certifications related to K9 handling or security operations (a plus)
