Cargo Handler

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Cargo Handler in Niagara Falls, New York. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path you can feel good about.

Responsibilities

• Performs material moves with associated transactions as required by the customer
• Loads and unloads inbound/outbound trailers
• Ensures all scanning completed correctly
• Helps train dock employees on new procedures
• Ensures facility is secure at end of shift, investigates/resolves scanning issues and housekeeping
• Completes assignments safely within the allotted time
• Participates in work group and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related shipping / receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to transact system information in a productive manner
• Able to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Pay

• Weekly pay
• Hourly pay: $21.31 per hour

Schedule

• Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday
• 6:30PM - 6:30AM
