Carepool Driver (Hospital Support)

About the role

Carepool is a transportation game-changer for hospitals, helping get patients home and free up beds. Launching with Fox Valley hospitals, the service provides medical rideshare for rural areas, suburbs, and cities, supporting aging adults and people with disabilities to reach work, medical appointments, and integrate into society. Helping people makes the week go by faster and is rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide rides using your own vehicle (or partner wheelchair‑accessible vehicles) for hospital discharge and on‑demand trips.
• Perform wheelchair transfers and supply the wheelchair when needed to increase earnings.
• Support individuals with disabilities during morning and daytime shifts.
• Use Carepool’s next‑generation transportation software that works with Wisconsin Medicaid programs and hospital systems.

Requirements

• Own a vehicle (or be willing to drive a partner’s wheelchair‑accessible vehicle).
• Ability to assist with wheelchair transfers and provide the chair when required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance (implied for vehicle use).

Benefits

Pay
