About the role

Caregiver’s Home Solutions (CHS) is a family-owned, award-winning home care agency serving New Haven counties. We seek dedicated, experienced caregivers who are compassionate, patient, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living skills like grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Supporting mobility, transfers, and light exercises
• Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
• Offering companionship and social engagement
• Keeping detailed notes of care and changes
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands

Requirements

• Experienced Caregivers: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Homemakers, Companions
• Adaptable to new situations and environments
• A good listener and able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Natural at multitasking
• Reliable and ready to work
• Able to pass a national background check
• Able to assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Able to perform basic housekeeping duties
• Able to provide hands-on personal care
• Bilingual (Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, Creole) preferred

Qualifications

• Able to work in the U.S.
• Experience with gait belts, Hoyer lifts, transfer boards, and other equipment
• Drivers with a valid license and reliable vehicle - must have a clean record
