Responsibilities

• Making hydration rounds outside of smoke break times to ensure residents are hydrated well.
• Ensuring proper liquid diet textures are followed.
• Ensure hallways are decluttered.
• Helping residents that participate in supervised/unsupervised smoking during scheduled smoking breaks.
• Ensure no flammable items are in smoking area during breaks.
• Round on smoking patio to ensure smoking policies are followed.
• Redirection to safety areas.
• Ensuring residents are encouraged to wear smoking aprons.
• Counting, tracking, and logging resident items before and following smoking breaks.
