About the role

FirstLight Home Care of Rockwall is growing and seeks compassionate, dependable caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in someone's life. We provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities, offering support with companionship, personal care, meal preparation, errands, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors and adults with disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and social outings
• Ensure safety and comfort in the home environment

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (for those providing transportation)
• Passing background check and criminal history review
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
