Caregivers Needed ASAP

About the role

Griswold Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for day and overnight shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours throughout the Raleigh area. We believe people deserve to live in the homes they love as they age. Our caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with shift times and schedules varying depending on the client.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and supervision
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping
• Providing transportation or assistance with errands
• Monitoring clients throughout day or overnight shifts
• Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent
• Communicating updates and concerns to the Griswold office team

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
• Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a 12‑hour shift
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team
• Caregiving experience is preferred
• Consistent day, night, and/or weekend availability is especially helpful
