About the role

We are hiring Home Health Aides / Caregivers in Lancaster, Indian Land, Chester, and Rock Hill areas. As a member of our personal care and companionship team, you will provide one-on-one support to clients with activities of daily living, helping them live safely and independently at home. This role serves patients in BAYADA’s ACSP Division.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Support range of motion/exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed but not required (training provided).
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Pay

$15 per hour.
