Caregiver - Weekends

About the role

TheKey is seeking part-time caregivers to assist with medical appointments and outings for senior clients. This role requires weekend availability and the use of one's own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional care to dedicated clients in their homes
• Executing comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
• Completing daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (Activities of Daily Living - ADLs)
• Providing personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support
• Aiding in personal care activities such as hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Maintaining order, safety and client enjoyment at all times
• Administering administrative functions including task documentation and reporting changes in client condition

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Experience with Alzheimer's or Dementia preferred
• Empathy, compassion and kindness required
• Sound judgment and ability to remain calm in various situations
• Reliability, dependability and punctuality
• Basic computer skills and technical savviness
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Passable background check and references
