Caregiver (Weekend AM or PM) - Senior Living Community

About the role

Suite Living Senior Care in Ramsey, MN is seeking part‑time Caregivers or CNAs for its Memory Care and Assisted Living community (32 beds). The position requires working every other weekend on either the AM (6 am‑2 pm) or PM (2 pm‑10 pm) shift. All new hires must complete a four‑day training session at the Arden Hills training site (Monday‑Thursday, 8:30 am‑4:30 pm). The community provides Memory Care and Specialty Senior Services with a care team boasting over 20 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the Dietary Manager
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver required (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR)
• CNA Certification preferred but not required
• Experience in an Assisted Living/Memory Care setting highly preferred
• Experience with medication passing highly preferred
• Must have excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Must be respectful and compassionate with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing and able to pass medications (training provided)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strict no cell phone use on duty policy

Schedule

• Part‑time position
• Shifts: Every other weekend – AM (6 am‑2 pm) or PM (2 pm‑10 pm)
