About the role

We’re currently seeking empathetic, dependable, and passionate Caregivers to join our team and help create a nurturing environment for our residents living with memory loss. As a Caregiver, you’ll provide personalized care and support to a small group of residents (typically 10-12), helping with daily activities, companionship, and emotional support. You’ll be a vital part of their day, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and cared for. This is an excellent way to grow your healthcare skills and learn from the best in resident care as you continue your education.

Responsibilities

  • Check each resident routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes and care plan.
  • Review task sheets daily to determine if changes in the resident daily care routine have been made in the care plan.
  • Inform the Director of Nursing of any changes in the resident’s condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident’s care plan.
  • Immediately report all accidents and incidents you observe.
  • Report all complaints and grievances made by the resident.
  • Assist the resident with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
  • Ensure that the resident’s rooms are ready for receiving and makes their guests comfortable.
  • Assist resident with any necessary hygiene activities. This may include but is not limited to daily cleaning and bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, helping residents to the bathroom or offering bedpans, keeping incontinent residents clean and dry, and helping residents brush their teeth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid CPR/First aid card
  • Fingerprinting Clearance Card
  • 1 year experience, preferred

Pay

USD $18.50 - USD $21.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Work 4 days on and 2 days off.
