Caregiver/QLS full-time overnight

Responsibilities

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in the morning, turn down as needed in the afternoon, and change bed linens once each week or as required.
• Complete resident's personal laundry as assigned.
• Aid residents with meal times, cutting food, and encouraging them to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Contribute to maintaining a calm atmosphere.
• Document shift assignments as assigned and report to the nursing supervisor.
• Report unusual behavior of residents to the nurse on duty and the Director of Health Services.

Requirements

• Experience and a hospitality-focused approach to caregiving.
• PCA Certificate or CNA License (preferred).

• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Starting at: $17.50/hour - plus $2.00/hour weekend only shift differential.

Schedule

Full-time overnights.
