Caregiver - PRN Weekends

The Palms at Sun City is seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to join our team on a per diem/PRN/as-needed basis.

About the Role

As a Caregiver, you'll provide personalized support and assistance with activities of daily living while helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. At Stellar, we believe exceptional care is delivered with kindness, patience, respect, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and provide individualized support based on each resident's needs.
• Assist residents during meals while following dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personal preferences.
• Promote residents' comfort, safety, independence, and overall well-being.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and state regulations.
• Drive residents to church, medical appointments, etc.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for serving seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for residents and teammates.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (required).
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Must meet all applicable state and community employment requirements.

Pay

$17.50–$19.50 per hour
