Caregiver PRN

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. Since 1974, we've supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in their community. With our dedicated team and experienced staff, we provide person-centered services that help people build skills, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.

This is a PRN (as-needed) caregiver position.

Responsibilities

• Help people grow, learn, and live well through rewarding, person-centered care
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Exercise ownership and trust to do what's right for participants
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred)
• Current driver's license with at least one year of driving history without restrictions
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor

Pay

PRN position at $9.00 per hour.
