Caregiver PRN

About the Role

Merrill Gardens at West Chester is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to support residents in our senior living community. If you are passionate about working with seniors and committed to providing an atmosphere that values individualism and dignity, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by state regulations and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (chart by exception).

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
