Caregiver (PRN)

About the role

Mary’s Woods is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide excellent care for our residents. Mary’s Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under direct supervision according to policies and procedures, and ensure care for our residents is provided in an atmosphere of comfort, independence and dignity
• Must be comfortable working independently and with others
• Must be able to manage time and complete tasks effectively
• Must be comfortable working with people living with Dementia

Requirements

• Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience required, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Required to obtain your Food Handler's, CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
• Must be able to work as part of a team

Pay

Starting from $20.00 per hour. The starting wage increases depending on experience, certification and education.

Schedule

• Day Shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm)
• Evening Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)
• NOC Shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am)
