Caregiver CNA Part-Time Day Shift WW Job Summary Waterford Communities Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lincoln, Nebraska is a locally owned and operated organization committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and caring Caregiver to join our team! As a Caregiver, you will provide direct care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a part-time day shift position, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of our residents. Responsibilities Provide ADL assistance and supervision of specific personal cares for residentsPrepare and serve food and snacksMaintain cleanliness of resident areas, common areas, and physical buildingAssist with laundry and other household tasksParticipate and engage with residents in social activities and eventsReport any changes in resident condition to Medication Aide, Director of Healthcare, and AdministratorFollow Waterford's policies and procedures regarding resident emergenciesAssist with admission and orientation of new residentsMaintain a professional and calm demeanor in stressful situationsPossess a keen sense of taste and smell, and maintain personal cleanliness Physical Requirements Indoor work in well-lighted and ventilated surroundingsStanding and walking with intermittent sitting during the working shiftPossibility of sprains and strains due to moving and lifting residents, minor cuts and burns from machines and chemicals, and walking on wet slippery floors during baths/showers Licensure/Certification Preferred: Current CPR certification and Basic First Aid Education/Training Must be 16 years of age or olderPreferred: Active CPR Certification and Basic First Aid Uniform Requirement Uniforms must comply with the Waterford uniform and dress code policies as stated in the Employee Handbook Why Work with Waterford Communities?
