Caregiver PM

About the role

Inspired by the mission and values of Ivy Park at Escondido, the Care Provider (Evening) is a vital member of the team dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents through personalized care and support.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and managing continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs, ensuring respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report any changes in residents' condition to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment for all staff, residents, and visitors.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to foster a supportive team dynamic.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience preferred but not required; training provided for qualified candidates.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow safety standards and protocols.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety measures, including vaccination requirements, daily screenings, and PPE usage.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks related to ADL assistance.

Pay

Starting at $17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

PM shifts on Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
