Caregiver, Personal Care Provider - Pueblo
As a caregiver, you will provide
- light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, kitchen/bathroom/bedroom cleaning, laundry services, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and may include running errands or grocery shopping.
- may assist with personal services such as dressing, bathing and grooming.
Requirements
- 6 months experience providing homemaker or personal care services.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and own transportation preferred but not required.
- Flexible and professional at all times.
- Able to relate professionally and effectively to fellow employees, and program participants.
- Criminal background check and willingness to submit to random drug screenings required (see specifics below).
- Geriatric, medical and/or home-care experience a plus.

Background Requirements
Per the State regulation (6 CCR 1011-1 Chap 26), 6.3 Criminal history record checks: Effective June 1, 2015, the HCA shall require any individual seeking employment with the agency to submit to a criminal history record check to ascertain whether the individual seeking employment has been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, which felony or misdemeanor involves conduct that the agency determines could pose a risk to the health, safety or welfare of home care consumers. The HCA shall develop and implement policies and procedures regarding the employment of any individual who is convicted of a felony or misdemeanor to ensure that the individual does not pose a risk to the health, safety and welfare of the consumer.
