Caregiver - Personal Care Attendant - Inland Empire

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Support daily activities and exercises as directed by the Plan of Care
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Build positive relationships with clients and families while delivering exceptional care

Requirements

• Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance – driving may be necessary in this role
• Experience working with older adults and/or physically disabled individuals
• Professional caregiver experience, nursing student clinical experience, or active CNA certification required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Physical demands: regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity; ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and routine use of standard medical equipment

Qualifications

• Preferred: Active HCA registration (Home Care Aide)
• Preferred: 6 months professional caregiving experience

Pay

Compensation range: $20.50 (presumably per hour)
