As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes while helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care
    • Bathing and grooming
    • Toileting and incontinence care
    • Dressing and personal hygiene
    • Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Home & Daily Living Support
    • Meal preparation
    • Light housekeeping
    • Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
    • Assistance with daily routines
  • Companionship & Support
    • Provide companionship and emotional support
    • Encourage independence and social engagement
    • Assist clients with daily activities
  • Mobility Assistance
    • Assistance with ambulation and transfers
    • Supporting safe movement throughout the home
  • Medication Reminders
    • Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
  • Transportation Assistance
    • Transportation to medical appointments
    • Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
  • Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar role is a plus
  • Proof of current TB testing required
  • Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
  • Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks
