About the Role
At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate and reliable Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes while helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Personal Care
- Bathing and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Dressing and personal hygiene
- Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Home & Daily Living Support
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
- Assistance with daily routines
- Companionship & Support
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Encourage independence and social engagement
- Assist clients with daily activities
- Mobility Assistance
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Supporting safe movement throughout the home
- Medication Reminders
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
- Transportation Assistance
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
- Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar role is a plus
- Proof of current TB testing required
- Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
- Must have reliable transportation
- If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
- Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks
