Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Bathing and grooming; toileting and incontinence care; dressing and personal hygiene; assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Home & Daily Living Support: Meal preparation; light housekeeping; laundry and maintaining a safe environment; assistance with daily routines
• Companionship & Support: Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement; assist clients with daily activities
• Mobility Assistance: Assistance with ambulation and transfers; supporting safe movement throughout the home
• Medication Reminders: Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Transportation Assistance: Transportation to medical appointments; assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar role is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks
