About the role

BAYADA is seeking Caregivers - PCA/HHA to provide personal care and companionship services to adults in their homes. This role offers flexible scheduling options and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Offer household support tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Engage in range of motion exercises and assist with ambulation
• Remind clients about medication schedules

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of professional home health or patient care experience
• Exceptional applicants without experience may be considered and trained
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned
