Caregiver/PCA/CNA/HHA

About the role

Caregivers at Comfort Keepers support seniors and adults in maintaining their independence in their homes. They assist with daily tasks, provide companionship, and help clients lead fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections through conversation, companionship, and emotional support
• Create a safe, comfortable, and positive home environment
• Auxiliary with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and errands
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, and team members
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and driving record review

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable individuals who enjoy helping others
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience

Skills

• PCA, HHA, or CNA certification preferred
