Responsibilities

  • Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
  • Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Report any observed or suspected changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests according to established safety standards.
  • Collaborate with co-workers and other departments to promote teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
  • Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.

  • Must be willing to comply with regulatory guidelines regarding vaccinations, daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
