Caregiver - Part Time
Caregiver Responsibilities
Afford residents assistance with performing activities, administering simple treatments, and addressing their emotional health and/or problem behaviors as outlined in their service plans.
Collaborate with the LPN (when present), Medication Tech/Aid, and other team members to develop and refine service plans based on current resident needs and preferences, as well as effective service methods.
Monitor and promptly report any resident concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in onboarding, annual, and in-service training sessions and team meetings as directed by the Wellness Director.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Show proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written
- Maintain any necessary certifications per state or provincial regulations
- Comply with state or provincial health-related requirements
Qualifications
- Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred for Memory Care positions
